Karen wanted to get some family shots done so whilst at a branding shoot for her company, we took the opportunity to also photograph her two girls Ella and Sydney.
If you haven’t read the journal entry about Karen’s brand shoot I spoke about how sadly Karen lost her husband and father to her children a few years ago. She turned this around to make it a positive catalyst for starting her business as a widow coach. The last bunch of flowers her husband bought for her were sunflowers so that features in her brand’s aesthetic but it was lovely to be able to shoot her family portraits in the sunflower field to give the feel of all four of them back together again.

First and foremost I have to say Alex is such a wonderful photographer, and also a beautiful soul. I wanted some nice photos of myself and my girls and I wanted to have them taken in a sunflower field, as this was a flower that reminded us all of my late husband.
My two girls were less enthusiastic about the idea of having their photos taken, but Alex worked her magic and managed to win the girls round. We had such fun and I now have some of the most beautiful pictures of my self and my girls which I will treasure forever. I have had them blown up and they take pride of place on my dining room wall, and every time I see them I smile.
I highly recommend Alex for any photography needs you have, she is wonderful and really is able to capture the best in everyone, I am thrilled, thank you Alex.
